VaynerSports approached The Creator Code to help capture a milestone moment for their athlete, Anna Leigh Waters—Pickleball Pro World #1 and the first pickleball player to ever walk the ESPYs red carpet. Their goal was to create approachable, personality-driven behind-the-scenes content that highlighted the fun of her first ESPYs experience, while showcasing how monumental this moment was for both ALW and the rapidly growing pickleball community.

To bring this story to life, The Creator Code collaborated closely with VaynerSports to develop a series of content concepts that showcased Anna Leigh’s personality, excitement, and genuine reactions throughout the day. We captured a collection of behind-the-scenes moments that were designed to feel energetic and celebratory.

Our team captured a mix of high-quality photo and video assets, including a sit-down “Get Ready With Me” conversation, ensuring the narrative highlighted both the historic significance for pickleball and Anna Leigh’s own joy in the moment.

Across photo and video, the campaign successfully shared Anna Leigh’s story in a way that resonated far beyond the red carpet. Together, the behind-the-scenes pieces generated over 312,000+ views.

Her sit-down “Get Ready With Me” video surpassed 156K views, and her transformation-style “before to after” getting-ready transition also exceeded 156K views.

The content collectively amplified the importance of Anna Leigh’s first ESPYs, showcasing a groundbreaking moment for her career and a defining milestone in bringing pickleball into mainstream sports culture.
